Master Builders Western Australia's knowledge of employment and industrial relations is based on long experience and is widely respected as second to none.
Our staff can provide advice on all kinds of personnel problems. They help builders and subcontractors to increase the efficiency of their workforce by improving labour relations and through effective enterprise bargaining. The Industrial Relations Department provides professional help to members in day-to-day business matters including:
- Wage rates and award provisions
- Termination of employment policies
- Redundancy, portable long service and superannuation obligations
- Employee versus sub-contractor working arrangements
- Workplace and enterprise bargaining agreements
- Current union campaigns
- Industrial advocacy
Relevant and timely industrial relations information is circulated to Master Builder members on a regular basis, keeping them up-to-date on a range of issues that could substantially affect their businesses.
