Pride in the Job Safety Awards

The 2011 Master Builders Pride in the Job Safety Awards celebrates twenty two years since the inaugural awards in 1989 and is proud to partner with the Federal Safety Commissioner on this landmark occasion with the introduction of the Federal Safety Commissioner’s Award for Outstanding Safety Solution.

The Awards are encouragement-based recognising individuals and organisations in the building industry that have demonstrated commitment to a safe working environment. Winners must demonstrate safe work procedures and practices.

Safety inspections are carried out throughout the nomination period. It is during these inspections that information supplied by the company is verified as well as workers onsite being identified as displaying a safe working culture.

 Awards are presented for:

§ Federal Safety Commissioner’s Award for Outstanding Safety Solution

§ Best Integrated Safety System Award – Principal Contractor

§ Best Integrated Safety System Award – Sub Contractor

§ Supervisor Safety Award

§ Individual Commitment to Safety Award

§ Life Saver Award
